Play Room Reveal
When we set out to redesign our playroom, I had one simple goal — create a space that my kids genuinely loved to be in. Not a room that looked pretty for the ‘gram and then became a disaster zone by noon, but a real, functional space where they could play freely, use their imagination, and actually help keep it organized. I wanted to design around the idea of open ended play — giving them room to create, explore, and just be kids — while still keeping things simple enough that even my littles could help tidy up at the end of the day. One of my favorite things about this space is how we were able to make the absolute most of what we had — including building out a custom tabletop right on top of our storage units, which added the perfect little activity space without taking up any extra room. The overall vibe is relaxed and fun — nothing too precious, nothing too perfect — just a space that feels like it was made for kids to actually live in. The result is equal parts functional and fun, and honestly one of my favorite rooms in our home. Watching my kids gravitate toward it every single day has made every decision completely worth it.
I’ve linked everything HERE.

A few details to note:

We used Zazzle for custom prints.
I also linked the two wood pieces we bought from Lowe’s to create the desk top on top of the Trofast organization system. We measured out the length of our space and had it precut at Lowe’s. We then glued the pieces together and painted them before attaching them to the Trofast storage!
