I wanted to share my favorite hair products with y’all! From serums to sprays, I feel like I’ve tried it all. While my list may be ever-changing, these are the products that have proved to be worth the money. I also linked the straightener I use to get my curls! At the end of the day it’s all about trial and error and every single person’s hair is different. BUT, I do love the products listed below and want to share for those interested! I’ve also provided my thoughts on each product if you want more information. Scroll to the bottom to shop!

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo

Right now this is my go-to Dry Shampoo. The price is a little bit steeper than drugstore options, but doesn’t leave that awful grimy white powder look in your hair like most do! It will also give your hair a little extra volume when those pesky oils tend to make your “do” lay flat.

Dry bar Triple Sec 3-in-1

It’s a dry shampoo, texturizer, and volumizer all in one. Yea, a no-brainer. I love purchasing and carrying this in travel size to spritz in my hair when it needs a pick me up. Instead of having 3 cans to create your favorite hairstyle, all you need is one with this Dry Bar magic bottle! Just like the Living Proof Dry Shampoo, it doesn’t leave any white powdery residue in your hair, which is key when trying to keep things fresh. Worth every penny if you ask me!

Pret-a-powder by Bumble and Bumble

Love this Dry shampoo that also gives you styling texture and a little extra volume as well! It’s a smaller bottle, so easy to travel with, that you tip over and shake the powder into your hair, no spraying needed. While the application process may be a little different form the easy spray bottles, it does last a lot longer, getting you more for your money. It’s not my number one, but a top choice for sure!

Caviar anti-aging working hairspray

I love this hairspray for getting my curls in line and all of those pesky flyaways. It gives a smaller dose of hold, but keeps your hair workable for those who like different hairstyles, or just don’t want a strong hold! I also LOVE the smell, which may be the number one reason I keep coming back. It keeps your hair feeling light without the sticky aftermath. I normally spray this on my curls before putting it up or just before using a tighter hold hairspray on the areas that need it most.

Big Sexy Hair Spray & Play Volumizing Hair Spray

My all time favorite hairspray! Personally, I think it creates the perfect combination of hold and movement. It feels like when I’ve come to hairsprays, I’ve tried them all, but always seem to come back to Big Sexy Hair! It’s so hard to find hairspray that actually gives you hold that you want but doesn’t leave your hair crunchy. Does anyone else just hate that?! It’s always one extreme or the other, especially if you have really thick hair like me, but I can assure you you’ll love this one!

Paul Mitchell Smoothing Super Skinny Serum

I actually got turned onto this serum by my mom. She has thicker, shorter hair that is on the coarser side, and swears by a good smoothing serum to create the perfect finishing product for any hairstyle. I happened to be home over a weekend visiting and figured I’d give her product a try. It was incredible. Not only does this serum create an amazing sleek look without looking too oily, but the bottle lasts FOREVER-definitely worth every penny!

It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-in

If you can’t escape the tangles, this product is for you. With longer hair, I spray this product a few times on the bottom half of my hair when I get out of the shower. It honestly allows my brush to glide so smoothly through my hair. Can also be a great product for you AND your little girls if you have more than one head in your house that needs detangling! Really the love the smell as well. Overall, great to have around.

It’s a 10 Miracle Styling Potion

A lot like the Paul Mitchell smoothing serum, this one does a great job at allowing your hairstyle to come to life. It is more cream based, rather than oil, which makes less of a mess on your hands and has a feather-light feel! I also love that this product, as well as the one listed above come in small travel sizes (which I linked), making it super easy to carry them with you.

Dry Bar the Chaser Shine Cream

Another smoothing and anti-frizz product that leaves that hair feeling silky smooth. For those of you that don’t like the idea of oily serum, this may be for you. The smell is subtle but clean, and is easy to use without leaving your hands needing a wash.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Night Cap Overnight Perfector

This is my secret weapon product. It’s an overnight cream that you put in your hair before you go to bed. You can put in in dry or wet hair. I always put it in my hair when it’s wet, since I like to shower at night. I would recommend only putting it in dry hair if you plan to wash your hair the next morning. It doesn’t leave your hair feeling gross and most of the time I apply when my hair is wet and just brushy hair the next morning, style, and go. No icky residue! Definitely a great way to help with split ins and lock in moisture over night!

Living Proof Restore Instant Protection

When you’re using heat tools on your hair everyday, your hair may suffer. using a good heat protectant spray is key in keeping your hair healthy and undamaged despite that hot iron use. Even blow drying your hair can cause significant damage overtime. This is one of my favorite and super easy to apply. Just use 1-2 pumps on wet on damp hair before styling.
